April is Autism Awareness Month

I just found out that there is a contest going on over at etsy to raise money for Autism research. Please go to etsy and search "etsy for autism" and you will find many items to be sold to raise money for this very worthy cause. There is also a contest to see which item gets the most views as well. Laurie of http://loudlife-laurieblaumarshall.blogspot.com has a beautiful piece of work that is for sale so please go check it out. I worked with many autistic children when I worked as a Speech Language Pathologist. It was very challenging and rewarding work. It has been over ten years since I worked, but many of them will stay in my memory for my lifetime.
