I was published in the current Jewelry Affaire Magazine! I am so excited to be featured here. It is a magazine that I have bought for years, and have been so inspired by the artists featured. My leather cuffs are featured on three pages! I have complete instructions on how to make your own. I hope you will pick it up and be inspired to make one of your own. I would love to hear what you think of them! If you do read the article your feedback is also appreciated.

We had a great weekend at the Europan Market in Alpharetta. I wanted to shared some of the pics. We made some awesome signs that we are going to be selling in our booth and probably online if we get the shipping figured out. What do you think? Thanks to all of you who stopped by! We love seeing all of you!

I have been busy making signs. These are actually a lot of fun to make as they never come out the same way twice. These are available at the Queen of Hearts Alpharetta in the Sassy booth. Email me if you are out of the area and would like a custom sign! Now back to work!

I am loving this great idea to create a fire pit out of an old washing machine tub! I guess you would just have to find someone to weld the legs onto the bottom. I guess you could always use pavers to build a base with an opening to tuck it into. Thanks Pinterest for the inspiration, and the blog The Garden Glove.

I have a problem throwing anything away. I had taken down a painted shelf in my antique booth and could not part with it. I knew it could be made into something cool. So after hitting it with some different color paints it hit me. I could make some sweet signs! I got my Silhouette Cameo out and started cranking these out. They were so easy and fun. I think they are great to have as daily reminders sprinkled around the house. What do you think? Are you going to make some too?

It's time to get crackalacking on jewelry. I have signed up for a ton of show this fall and have no jewelry made. Yikes time to get the creative juices flowing and get creating. This is one of the new styles I am trying out. I have tons (literally) of stone beads so I need to incorporate them into everything to free up some studio space. What do you think??

Ok this is not my usual post topic, but when I can pass on some info that will improve your life I must. I downloaded the Chipotle app and ordered my favorite salad complete with all the toppings. I even got to add a message for an extra vinegrette (because I could actually drink their Honey-Chipotle dressing) and viola it was all there just as I ordered. YOu then can skip the line go right to the register and pick up your order. They even allow you to add your credit card so your order is paid for when you pick it up lickety split. Think how easy office lunch runs would be everyone places their own order so no room to screw it up and it's all paid for ahead of time. I love you Chipotle!!!

I got this cute little gray cubby shelf at my local antique mall. I have a bit of an obsession with cubby shelves, not really sure why. I guess I love the idea of visual storage. I thought it was cute but could use a little tweaking. First I took my Mouse electric sander to it to distress it. The black paint underneath started to peek through and I was thrilled. Next I took an vintage style map of Italy and cut it to the exact size of each cubby hole. I then brushed Gel Gloss Medium on the back of each piece of the map and carefully placed on the back of each opening. Using Gel Gloss medium instead of Mod Podge is important because it is a much more thick rather than wet glue. It will not get the paper overly wet and make it wrinkle. This is how it turned out. I love it! I think I may use it as a jewelry display in my booth, the cuffs look right at home there!

I just made these smaller jewelry dishes today. I love birds and this motif is just so sweet. What do you think?

I had a request to make one of these for a friend, and I love the way they turned out. How cute are they and just perfect for by the sink or nightstand. I also thought what a great gift for a bridesmaid or teacher. They are single letter $8.50 or $10.50 for the three initial version. You can find them in my etsy shop.

I love these old windows. I had a chance to buy a pile for ten dollars each. Pretty good price if you know what you want to do with them. At the time I was not sure so I passed on them I have a serious collection of junk in my garage that is not being used. So in my brief moment of self control I passed on them. Now I have seen these great ideas on Pinterest and wish I would have grabbed at least three of them! I love the wall of windows going up the stairs. What a great way to add some characterto an otherwise bland wall.

I found a huge pack of clipboards at the thrift store. Hmmmm what to do with them. The first ones I painted with chalkboard paint. That was ok. Then I decided to try to grunge them up. I rusted the clips and added some jute and bling for a little pizzaz. I think a whole row of these would be fun going down a hallway. They could be changed out with each season.

I just back from a short vacation to California. I must saw Cali has it all, really quite amazing to have such vastly different climates and landscapes in one state. These are just a couple of pics from 17 Mile Drive in Monterey and Muir Woods outside of San Francisco. If you were thinking of making it a vacation destination you won't be sorry. Isn't incredible how great all of these photos taken with my iPhone look.

Here are some pics of the process I use when I am pouring resin in pendants or rings. First the papers are glued inside the pendant and are coated 3 to 4 times so the paper will be sealed and not become transparent when the resin is poured over it. I then layer any additional pieces that are going to be part of the pendant. For rings I have made this paper plate holder. It allows the shank of the ring to go below the surface and keep the dish of the ring level while the resin is curing. This is the best technique I have found. I mix my resin according to the product directions, then let cure overnight. I can't wait to see how the turned out in the morning. Got questions or comments? Just let me know.

I am trying to get organized in my garage work space. To say it's a disaster is an understatement. So in my attempt to organize I bought two of these cute carts from Ikea. They had grey or this turquoise. I LOVE this turquoise color so happy and bright. I added some vinyl words with my silhouette and now it's too cute to use lol. Think of all the places one of these would come in handy, go get one now! (ps- the word paint is very crooked, got to fix it when I get my cast off of my foot. Couldn't get low enough to get it straight ugh).

This is a vanity that just got it's facelift. It was in pretty rough condition and mirror was not salvagable, so now it is a bench. We love the way it turned out. Mary painted it in a beautiful neutral and gave it a good distressing. Then she made a nce cushion that she covered in a vintage style fabric. Great job Mary!! This is the desk Mary just finished as well. (Wow she has been busy) It is so cute, we should have taken a before pic so you can really appreciate the transformation. The booth has now been refilled and not looking so barren. If you are in the Atlanta Ga area come by and see us at the Queen of Hearts Alpharetta! I am so appreciative of my friend Mary. I have been recuperating from foot surgery since early December and have been able to nothing. She has been a true friend in need, I can't thank her or God enough for her! What are you working on during this lousy winter weather??
