Destashing time!

I have such an abundance of beads, I don't think I could use them all in my lifetime. I have decided to part with some of them that I am going to add to my etsy store. I am going to be adding a ton of them so check it out.

A new necklace

I have been sneaking in more time to work on jewelry this week. I guess it helps to leave it out on the kitchen table, it doesn't make the family so happy though. Thank goodness they put up with me! Here is a new necklace I made with a beautiful vintage religious metal. The patina on it is gorgeous, it is an Immaculate Heart of Mary medal that is bronze in color. I am not sure how old it is, but it looks very old to me. I put it with some weathered grey wooden beads, faceted garnet that I was lucky to find last week, and then some of my favorite vintage style rhinestone beads. I like the mixture of all of them together. I am not sure if I am keeping this one or putting it in my etsy store. Hmmmm that's a tough one.

Isn't it romantic?

I have been so busy lately, it's been hard to get my creative fix in. Here is a heart I made while teaching my polymer clay class last week. I call it "A love song on my heart" well it is almost Valentines Day, I guess it's getting to me. I put it on an organza ribbon to let the wearer decide on the length she wants. I also added a rhinestone ball to add a little sparkle. It is going to be available in my etsy shop.

Flea Market chair re deux

I have several of these chairs tucked down in my basement just waiting to be given new life. I got them at a flea market many years ago and they have been given several paint jobs. I decided to go with a French theme this time. I stenciled the design onto canvas because it has nice body to it. I like the way they turned out oooh la la! What do you think?
