New Collage Art Canvases







I have been cranking out these little canvases lately. It is so much fun to work on these with the ipod cranked up. It seems they almost make themselves sometimes. I think my favorite is this last one titled, "Grow." It has really bright colors and then the little bit of bling on the pot is my favorite.

These look fantastic! Do you use acrylic paint with the wax? I wanted to give wax a go with some mixed media collages but someone told me you had to use oil paint with it!

I am using the wax over the paper collages mostly, but I did do one with acrylic paint. I have heard the oil w/ wax too. I will have to look at my Claudine Hellmuth collage book and see what guidance she gives.

You've been busy! The canvases are adorable , and seeing all the dominoes made w/your family below was a total treat! It sounds like you had a great time visiting the family and vice versa. :)
