My olympic hero

Dara Torres is 41, a mother, and is swimming for the US in the 2008 Olympics. Now that is someone that inspires me. This is an old photo of her, I hope there will be a medal or two for her this year. I don't know about any of you, but when I was 12 I watched Nadia score her perfect 10's and decided right then & there I wanted to be a gymnast too and go to the olympics, yeah right. I was heart broken to find out I was way too old to go for that dream. At 12 I was too old?!? Now seeing Dara Torres at 41 has inspired me again. Now I am a little older and a wee bit heavier than her (denial is not such a bad thing) I may have a new olympic dream be born. I may have to go for a sport where physical prowess is not as important, as some other attributes like creativity . Is there a sport like that? Well enjoy the olympics, cheer your country and enjoy the coming together that only happens like this every 4 years.

41-year-old Olympic swimmer Dara Torres is the talk of the sports, fitness, health, and anti-aging world. I think you'll enjoy this interesting video that takes viewers back to the very moment the world first learned how Torres has been defying aging for the past 8 years. This is not a commercial or an ad. It's a very revealing news story.
