What a Christmas Surprise!

If you have been reading my blog, you know I had a very heart breaking episode having to put my Yellow Lab down when she developed Lymphoma in September. I have been doing alright, but having some tough days missing her soooo badly. I mention this to my husband, and also mentioned how as a child I would beg and plead my parents to get me a Golden Retriever puppy. I would read the want ads and show them, but they would not budge. Fast forward 30 years, my husband shocked my two sons and I with a wonderful Golden Retriever pup. We have named her Sadie Lou Who. It just seems to fit her. We had watched the Grinch the night before and it stuck (yes, I know it was "Cindy Lou Who" we just like Sadie better). My kids said I had an, "extreme home makeover" reaction. Yes, I cried it was like being handed a baby you have been wanting for so long. She is just wonderful and she even knows sit, down and come already, what a smarty pants!
