Popcorn ceiling? No problem

Isn't this a great idea to cover popcorn ceilings. Beadboard would also be a great alternative too.

Great upcycling idea for your decorative cans

I love old cans and new ones too with great graphics. Here is a great idea to get good use out of them, just glue a magnet to the back and let it hold your pens, coupons, etc on your refrigerator. Go find your cans!

Shrinky Dink Jewelry

Have you played with Shrinky Dinks lately. I never had these as a child, but always wanted them BADLY. I am sure I drove my mom crazy begging for them everytime the commercial played. I just came across these examples and tutorials on Pinterest. I have made tons of these as an adult, and I was right they really are fun to play with and create unique items. If you search my blog you will see my Paris shrink plastic bracelet. If you follow the links on the photos above you will find great tutorials. The bottom photo is from Country Living it has a tutorial and you can download the images from the blogger who wrote the article. You can purchase Shrink Plastic online as well as at Micheals Arts and Crafts. They even have a version you can put into your Ink Jet printer to put photos and images from your computer onto the plastic. If you don't want to do that you can draw or use your rubber stamps on the plastic. Go ahead and get some shrink plastic treat yourself to some fun.

Burlap Ruffled Tablecloth

I love this burlap tablecloth. I think it would be awesome for a garden party or great for my art shows I participate in during the fall. Anyone have any idea if there is a tutorial out there?

Rock me Beethoven!

Isn't this awesome. I found this guy at a local thrift store and decided he needed a little lightening up. Beethoven's face is so serious so I decided to give him a coat of turquise blue to brighten him up. I think it looks great tucked into the garden.
He will be available for adoption in my booth at Queen of Hearts Alpharetta!

Junkology

Junkology was one of the wonderuful booths at the Austin Country Living Fair. They had so much rusty goodness it was hard to take it all in. I spoke to the vendors and they told me they are getting to open a store. How wonderul, I don't live in Texas so I won't get to experience it, I am jealous of those of you who will get the chance. Here are just a couple of pictures I got to take of their awesome booth.

Country Living Fair Austin

I had a great weekend visiting Austin, TX. We went to the Country Living Fair, and explored some really cool areas in Austin. Here are some of the vendors and their great offerings. I did manage to spend way to much, and had a really tough time fitting it all into my carry on bags.
There were some exceptional vendors too I will be posting about them later in the week, so come on back!
