We have brought lots of great new items into the Stash booth. We have an awesome shabby pine trunk that's been white washed, new pillows and lots of chalk and dry erase boards. Hope you have time to stop by the Queen of Hearts this week.

I have been working with the vintage key theme in a lot of my work. For much of my jewelry its the main focal, and now on these new pillows I am making for the booth. I have been layering fabric, vintage lace and finally the old skeleton key on top. Every time I finish one I get a new idea for the next one. I hope everyone likes them!
I have been making a bunch of chalkboards for my booth. I am bothered though by how traditional chalk looks a bit dull and dusty. I bought some of these Chalk Ink Markers and love them. I am guessing this is what they use in some of the chain restaurants like Chili's for their chalkboards. I want every color they make now. Check out the video from above to see what I am talking about.

I made this chalkboard for my booth. I took this shot in my kitchen. I think it would be great in an entryway, next to the media room as a marquee, or even a hallway. It sold the second day so I guess someone else thought the same thing. I guess I need to make another asap.

Our family has purchased several Ipods over the last couple of years. My son came across this article about the recall on the first generation Nano Ipod. Go here to see if you have the correct one. We went to the website and put in the serial number and it was one of the recalled models. My son had to send the original one off, but in about 6 weeks a new Ipod came in the mail free of charge. He is very excited because it is the newest model and it does a whole lot more than the original one did. So go search for that Nano, you held onto it just in case something like this came along right? We still have one to find that is the same model, but currently it is hiding very well. Post a comment if you get your Nano replaced.

I have been wanting to make some wooden signs and other things for my booth. I busted out my saws, Dremel tool and came up with these wings. I did a lot of rounding of the edges with the dremel, then carved the individual feathers into the wood before painting. This is my second pair, I have them in the Sassy booth. I think they would be cute over a baby bed, or on each side of a group of family pictures. I have several other wooden items in cue I will post soon!
